MPU Applicant

Job Summary: The MPU Applicant is responsible for the planning, application, and execution of Main Panel Upgrades (MPU) in residential properties. This role requires in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, local building codes, and safety standards. The MPU Applicant will work closely with clients, utility companies, and inspectors to ensure successful upgrades of main electrical panels. Key Responsibilities: Assessment & Planning: Evaluate existing electrical panels and systems to determine upgrade requirements. Design new panel configurations to meet customer needs and comply with local codes. Estimate materials, labor, and costs associated with panel upgrades. Application Process: Prepare and submit necessary document applications for MPU projects. Liaise with local authorities, utility companies, and inspectors to obtain approvals. Maintain records of applications, permits, and inspections. Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to explain the MPU process, timelines, and any potential issues. Provide regular updates to customers on project progress. Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other electricians, project managers, and team members to ensure efficient project completion. Participate in team meetings to discuss project status, challenges, and solutions. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Master degree or equivalent required. Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and NEC standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
